Give me all the pink, all the ruffles, and all the bows. Planning for a little girl's arrival is so fun, and I'm not even scared to admit how happy it makes me. When I learned that my niece was a she, I wasted zero time in planning for this princess's baby shower. After having three of my own children, I could not WAIT for my baby sister to have her own babies. Naturally, the goal for this shower was perfection. Nothing less would do.
This was made for my niece's nursery, & the best part about this project was selecting the floral picks that would match the nursery decor. I enjoyed it so much I sat myself square in the floor at Joanne's in front of the clearance floral bin to pick through 100s of stems & select just the right ones. I have NO shame.
Maybe it's my southern upbringing, but I can't resist a good magnolia leaf decor item. This one hangs inside a tobacco basket (because southern nostalgia) on the custom barn door outside my office.
Wreaths aren't just for your front door anymore, folks, & this wreath hangs (almost) year-round in our kitchen. I replace it with something a bit more seasonal during Christmastime (& put up 3 trees, so things get weird around here).
